On 26th April 2025 I had the opportunity to be part of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025, signing copies of my book “Maya’s Paradox: How to Balance Ambition with Integrity”.
Meeting readers, sharing conversations, and listening to their reflections reminded me why I started this journey in the first place — to spark dialogue on choices, dilemmas, and the delicate balance between success and staying true to one’s values.
The signatures were more than just ink on paper — it was a shared moment, a story exchanged, a connection made.
Held under the theme “Knowledge Illuminates Our Community,” the fair truly lived up to its vision of promoting dialogue, creativity, and a love for reading across borders. With over 1,400 exhibitors from 96 countries and around 2,000 activities and events, the aura was both calm and captivating — a perfect space for meaningful conversations between readers, writers, publishers, and thinkers.
The fair’s focus on highlighting global partnerships, fostering intellectual engagement, and promoting cultural sustainability was evident at every corner. It’s heartening to see how Abu Dhabi has positioned itself as a hub for global literary dialogue while honoring heritage and innovation.
More than just an event, the fair reflects the UAE’s strong commitment to nurturing a culture of reading, learning, and intellectual engagement — something that truly resonates with my journey as an author.
The calm yet vibrant aura made it truly special — a space where stories, ideas, and conversations flowed effortlessly. The ambience was nothing short of mesmerizing, thoughtfully designed for book lovers to pause, explore, and immerse themselves.
